fave skirt: so many options..........

when i love a piece i love it! i want to wear it all the time no matter what the season. this skirt is one of those pieces. you've seen it before and for sure you will see it again. the shape is so easy and the color can handle any season. below you will see in styled in the fall and again mid winter. i just love it.
this was a powerful play on color and accessories. as i said when i love a piece i don't get rid of it. this giada forte shirt is maybe 6+ years old. if you've been to the store you KNOW i buy this in 2 versions (with or without a collar). it's the perfect shirt in warm weather and a great layer in colder months. i have also loved it as a coverup because it's so thin that it dries really quick. i don't usually tie it up like this but wanted to show the waist of the skirt as the smock detail is so pretty. my hat makes me ridiculously happy....and warm! i have it in 2 colors and in the winter my ears actually thank me.
this necklace is on my forever wish list. i LOVE IT so so so much. i just can't commit to purchasing it but the love is so real. luckily my wonderful friend kristin let me borrow it from her store for this shoot.......so difficult to give it back. so if one of you lucky ladies out there love it then you must get it. truly beautiful.
same skirt and boots different season. the asymmetry of the skirt is what i'm really drawn too. so flattering and a great length. today, i layered it with the wilkins that you've also seen before. under the sweater is a pretty bold red satin tank from giada (now on sale!). because it was so cold i added my reversible shearling and leather coat and a wool beanie.

the layers and colors are so pretty. my tourmaline ball ring and pat flynn iron dipped with gold spike necklace. both pieces are available by special order here as i bought the last ones :)
fun layers. pretty colors. beautiful skirt.
