classic cable knit sweater.......two looks

some things are never are out of style. and, a classic cashmere cable knit sweater is exactly one of those things. in the 22+ years i've had souchi i have often been asked to make one custom or why i don't make them. well, the answer is simple. a cable knit sweater done by hand takes a very long time and i can't commit to that.
so, when i find pretty ones with a great fit i have to order them for the store. the birch sweater from christina lehr is one of those sweaters. this season i ordered in 3 beautiful colors: indigo, grey and wine

i love the boxy, sorta cropped length. i tend to wear it with skirts and boots. i just think it's the perfect shape for skirts. the skirt above is vintage chanel and it's perfection. the weight of it, the slim hips with side seam pockets and a-line shape. well, it's exactly why the high price of chanel is worth it. you will have & love it forever. i added our rib cashmere scarf with ostrich feathers for some fun. these boots are chloe from maybe 3 years ago. i love them. they keep re-issuing them so you can probably still find them. again, totally worth it.
classic, fun and cozy.
this time with a silk asymmetrical skirt (sold out but available in this color), enza long sleeve cotton tee, oversized wrap and a beanie. how many shades of berry can i wear at one time? a ton!

fun accessories always liven up a tonal look. layered charm necklace and a jumbo wrap
and more of the color in the ombre eggplant, bordeaux and cranberry boots. these are nina ricci from about 8 years ago and a favorite. so, if you like this sweater then THIS WEEKEND is the time to get it because it's 25% off thru presidents weekend. use code: love
