mole wilkins.....two looks
the wilkins cashmere sweater is quickly becoming one of my most favorite sweaters. it's a modified sharon (and, you know how much i love that sweater) without a neckband and with relaxed slim fit. it's still plenty roomy without being bulky. i wear it a lot and you will see it pop up on this blog in a variety of ways and colors. today, i've styled it over the marcella dress and with faux leather leggings (also, a staple for me).
i love this look but not as much as i love my boy jack. a true angel. here the wilkins is layered over the marcella cashmere dress. and, then styled with a leather moto jacket in a beautiful chocolate. i added a silk print scarf with fringe edges and a bobble beret in shitake.
i love the really long sleeves of this sweater....a bit casual which is why i style it with a pretty silk scarf and my bauble ball rings in tourmaline, gold and oxidized silver (similar available here and here).
here i've styled the same wilkins sweater under the shawl collar cardi and over a silk tunic. to balance the mix of long and short layers i choose classic faux leather leggings in espresso. a pop of colorful accessories complete the layered look. my fave cross necklace (similar here).
a fringe edie bag in metallic red is the perfect bag for evening....or, even as your bag to put in your bag. just love it. and, again my tourmaline ball ring (similar here).
killer shoes and your look is complete. these beauties are margiela from about 4 years ago. the tortoise print patent leather is so pretty.
