raspberry - magenta - crushed berries..... this color

this color....raspberry? plum? pomegranate? 

who cares....it's gorgeous and makes me so happy! we got this coat in and i had to shoot it the next morning.

the jacket is reversible...teddy bear on one side and thick, beautiful shearling on the other. the longer back is perfect. we freeze our bums here in aspen so this is brilliant. especially, when driving home. i hate the bulk of a jacket in the front while sitting and this solves that problem.

then this nocturne skirt from rachel comey....ok i'm only 5'3....5'3.5 when standing straight and so i would hem this a few inches. but, it's a shoot and our model was sick so you're stuck with me. the skirt is high waisted has front slash pockets and the cutest notches at the waist. words can't describe how good it feels on AND the print is insane. i'm wearing the souchi crop kehle sweater in black with it. thinking black would keep the focus on the print and color. 

this is the coat reversed! oh my god it's heaven. this way i want my baker jeans, cozy boots and the matilde souchi sweater on. swooning

just so happens, same day this lola fedora in vino arrived.

basically, this look made my day and perhaps the holidays. it's pure happiness.
