late may snow day....but i need to feel 'spring'.........
ok, a week ago it was in the 70's....this week in the 30's and snowing! don't get me wrong, it's beautiful. but, after a long winter of great snow i finally put away the winter clothes....and then a week of snow/rain/slush...i had to get smart with the spring layers. and, i love this look.
first, i couldn't wait to wear the norm jeans from rachel comey. i am completely in awe that these jeans went to sale. they also come in black/grey. i LOVE them. they are high waisted and straight leg. i cut them off and left hem raw because i like this length better on me for a straight leg jean....and, we all know i love to show off whatever shoe i'm wearing.
add the giada forte henley shirt under the souchi wilkins, bottega wrap and this beautiful giada forte blazer. the alex clutch in blue pony is just beautiful.
the linen blend textured blazer from giada is just beautiful and a great 'jacket' for spring/summer. plus, my fave flip ring from ara that i got at elliott yeary gallery. they can special order this ring for you. however, if you need something now this one is similar.
so, the result....spring colors, cool texture and layers of cotton and cashmere. add a newsboy cap and cool dries van noten silver metallic and grey flannel booties.
