hello kumquat.......
i love shades of orange, kumquat and denim with caramel.
this is a perfect winter look for casual days in aspen.
it's funny how a color so vibrant (kumquat) when mixed with a neutral like flounder becomes a cool neutral sweater. we love skipper. then, it needed a multi color varigated fringe scarf in shades of pink.
add a beautiful hand made leather tote bag (and, it's on sale!) that is in a shade that lies somewhere between chocolate and mahogany.
of course, add denim....the stevie would be perfect.
caramel patent slip on booties that are shearling lined add to that rich, orange, harvest tone.
add cool lohr earrings in caramel, chocolate and milk .... an apricot beanie and then sweet oversized shades in butterscotch that are available at our aspen boutique.
so, DO NO BE AFRAID of shades of all shades of kumquat. and, be sure to wear them layered together for fun, flattering and happy looks.
oh, and if you need a jacket over this look...i suggest this denim jacket
