denim, fur and a vest........
isn't it funny how some things never go out of style? denim. animal print. leather belt. black and white. yep, timeless. throw it all together with a few surprises and you've got quite an outfit.
details....yes, i say it all the time but some harping is really important. when wearing black denim i like the surprise of pairing it with a pretty peach. it softens the black jeans but still keep the look cool. a classic black leather belt with oxidized brass buckle is pretty and more modern than a gold buckle. add, these killer peach mirrored lens shades and there are no worries about this look being basic.
the houndstooth vest in salmon and navy is a great addition to the satin tank. it keeps it from being too sweet. crop washed black denim jeans with frayed hem work great with the snow leopard booties. oh, did you notice the shearling on them. perfect for winter. and, added fun part is these boots come with a second pair of laces that are bright red. so fun.
in the winter we have to show a lil skin and ankles and shoulders are perfect.
the bubish stripe rabbit fur cardi (ethically sourced - seriously!!) is the perfect topper. this look gives me patti hansen/keith richards vibes and i am living for it.
perfection.
so, when wearing black denim, think about a soft, feminine color instead of black, white or grey. this is way more fun!
