annie hall love............

ok, often i refer to diane keaton's style in annie hall. in fact, as i write this i am wearing a shirt and vest combo. to me it's timeless and fun. today i played with a masculine look and feminine colors.

the high waist herringbone pant from alexa chung is going to be a staple for years to come. the silhouette is both flattering and cool. i added a giada forte shirt. these shirts are staples in my closet and for looks i style. the silk and cotton fabric are light enough to layer and work year round. i took 3 to africa for a safari. i took them to greece because they keep the sun off but aren't bulky and also work as a cover-up. see, they are great for travel. just wash in the sink and hang to dry and you're ready to go.
i layered the souchi wilkins vest on top in a size bigger than i usually would take because i liked the way it fell over my shoulders creating a 'cap sleeve'.
the benning hat in a beautiful shade of indigo is so pretty and works with everything.

giada forte's lilac blazer is perfect. it's cotton velvet fabric, notched lapels and flap pockets gives a classic feel. and, the color with grey's is just beautiful.
push up the blazer sleeves, layer your bling and bring back the watch.
