a knit suit.....? yes..............
a knit suit....yep, thoughts of st johns come to mind which is not wear souchi is taking you with the kimono cardi and the crop taylor pant. i love these pants so much i did them in a long length too.
the kimono cardi is a hip length that looks great tied or left open and sash worn as a scarf.
the color i'm wearing the cardi and pants in is platinum. i love it with peach and caramel tones. the planet heel in a yummy soft caramel with peach marbles is the perfect heel to dress up the look. the silk rib scoop tank in peach is a smooth layer that won't create any bulk. rosie kent's gold pendant necklace is a nice delicate choice. it's available at the aspen boutique.
the sash is extra long so you can wrap and tie like an obi or leave long and loose.
the taylor pant is a straight leg knit pant with banded waistband and hidden drawstring. i love how cozy these are and plan to wear in the fall with the chunky betty sweater and saco boots.
so....consider a knit suit. it's not what your grandma wore....unless your grandma is awesome!
not sure about the knit pant? then try rachel comey's montego high waist wide leg jean in dirty white. a bit more minimal for jewelry is the annika bitten glass necklace and glass hoops. the planet heel is a spring/summer favorite.
