Skirt style for a summer day

I love skirt styles for a summer day. It's a piece that so easily transition from day to night & casual to dressy. Today I styled the sylvie skirt to be worn to a fun lunch or dinner on a summer day.

  

The sylvie skirt has a wide elastic smocked waist and handkerchief hem in a pretty printed chiffon. The print is a pretty navy, purple and pink which is just bright enough for a summer day. The amo long rib tank in vintage pink is the top I chose to wear with the summer skirt. I like to play with random patterns and prints so i picked a contrast embroidered liette clutch. I'm wearing a vintage purple straw hat, ara collection necklace and some old heels from no. 6. We just got in these heels from suzanne rae plum high 70's heels  and I love the color to play with the pinks and purples of the skirt. For jewelry I chose the Bazile set from louise hendricks. The bazile earrings & bazile necklace with rainbow cross design is pretty enough for day or night. If you want to dress up this skirt style for summer then I suggest wearing the matching violetta blouse. love.
