summer browns......yes please
i love all shades of brown. and, when designers use the color for spring & summer it makes me very happy. we are so used to seeing shades of brown in a print or as an accessory but rarely a piece of clothing in the summer. so, this season i was so happy to see it. you will see a lot of in the boutique and on the site. i'm very happy.
today it's birgitte herskind's tina dress. in a caramel brown and ivory check print. the empire to hemline is a crinkle pleated fabric that is so pretty. the bodice and sleeve is the same fabric without the crinkle or pleats. and, how about the banded cuffs with full sleeve? love.
i decided to pair eic's jewelry with this dress because you can't go wrong with brass, patina and copper shades when wearing brown. and, of course, a straw fedora. for summer i like the tina dress with wal & pai's white west ankle boot. so cute.
