baggy jeans and an oversized top...............last days of summer
i have been in a relaxed style this summer. i'm kinda wanting to supersize everything. ok, not literally. but, i am enjoying fashions moment of loose, relaxed clothing. i believe there is a way to make them flattering. i am not a fan of 'hiding' under clothing. so, i am in love with the new jay jean.
the jay jean is a mid waist jean with a roomy leg and waist. it's kinda like buying the baker 2 sizes bigger. so, yes, you can size down but why? you are losing the cool factor AND not embracing this new cut. you might as well be wearing the bakers you already own. i love the repaired details and the pink undertone of the wash.
this 'poet blouse' is from giada forte summer 2016. the slim arm keeps you from looking sloppy or being unflattering. love this top. the death defying wedges are from bottega veneta and are gorgeous....even at about 6"!
i love the gathered neckline that can be worn on or off the shoulder. the necklace is 18k gold with black diamonds from ara. there is a similar one here. love it's simplicity. the hat is from the aspen hat lady who is awesome. when visiting aspen check her out at the farmers market.
