The first Souchi sweater was created in San Francisco in 1997. Thirteen years later, founder Suzi Johnson continues to design three luxurious
and eco-friendly knit collections a year, and source exquisite clothing and accessory lines for the souchi store.
Suzi hand picks her yarns at the finest most reputable mills in the world. Fibers are selected based on quality and
color, ranging in weight from whisper thin yarns to chunky, 8-ply natural and organic fibers. Suzi works with cashmeres from loro piana,
italian merinos,
organic cottons from Tanzania, and gorgeous yarn blends of the finest silk, cotton, and cashmere.
The souchi store in Portland, Oregon is a mix of souchi originals and hand-picked pieces from coveted designers. Lines like Ports 1961, Sonia Rykiel, Genetic Denim, and jewels from Thea Grant and Page Sargisson complement luxe souchi knits. The season's best finds merge effortlessly with favorite past purchases, together creating a beautiful, distinctive, and sophisticated wardrobe to enjoy wearing for years.
Suzi is drawn to luxurious quality and exquisite details. The hand made leather bags and accessories from Johnny Farah, Bruce's subtlety and excellent craftsmanship, and one of a kind resin pieces from Triian, are all great examples of Suzi's commitment to finding the most beautiful and unique pieces for her store.

Suzi's designs have been featured both nationally and abroad in prominent magazines such as Vogue, W Magazine, Travel and Leisure, Lucky, In Style and British Elle. Her pieces are sought after by celebrities, stylists, and modern women everywhere. In addition to the flagship store in Portland, Oregon, souchi is sold at exclusive boutiques in the United States, Paris, Canada, and Ireland.
